As an Employment Adviser, you’ll help change people’s lives by supporting them into sustainable employment. You’ll deliver high-quality, personalised support to people who are long-term unemployed and participate in the Department for Work and Pensions’ Restart Scheme. Committed to providing an excellent service to every customer, your role will involve carefully assessing individual needs, creating tailored action plans and CVs, and offering a range of support, from skills development to job search assistance. While you’ll have targets designed to support positive outcomes, you’ll also be supported in your role and will be encouraged to innovate and develop networks. Some of your customers may have complex needs and you might work with specialised services to support them.
